Brit Chase continues to impress this season. Not only does Brit set up in game when it seems to count most, but she's figured out that working hard in practice pays off in bigger ways. Her work ethic has been great throughout the season, but especially coming through this week in particular when subs at the forward position seemed to be in small supply. Her hard work shows in how she carries herself and what she brings to the team. For those reasons she's a respected and driven leader among the Gusties continually asking her teammates to hold themselves to a higher standard day after day, practice after practice, game after game. They know Brit is giving it her all, so they will do the same for her.
Her hard work culminated in a tremendous showing against No. 21 ranked College of Saint Benedict's. Consistently pressing the back line and combining with her teammates, she helped the Gusties create some powerful and dynamic offensive attacks. She's smart off the ball, cheeky on the ball and has tremendous vision. She pushed herself past her limits, and showed what it means when Coach LBK says, "you're only 20% tired".
Congratulations Brit!
