Known for her fierce defense and aggressive play in the back line, Karlye Smith is usually a force to be reckoned with... this week she stepped up to a new level and made an impact and impression on each opponent the Gusties faced.

Whether organizing her back line, or stepping up to put pressure on the forward's back and not letting her turn, Karlye has been at the top of her game all week.  Working tirelessly to not let the ball get through, she was consistent out of the air, and deadly in every tackle.  She plays hard and with her heart on her sleeve, laying it all on the line for the Gusties and her teammates.
