A Big Thank You to the Gustavus and St. Peter Communities for their Support!
Another successful fundraiser for the Gustavus Adolphus Women's Soccer team and Yuwa. This year's 2nd Annual Fundraiser went off wonderfully! With a few members of the Yuwa team in St. Peter to help out, we collected voluntary donations, and sold raffle tickets to win a signed Gustavus Women's Soccer practice jersey (won by Gustie player, Maddison Ackiss' dad who was visiting from Alaska!)!
The St. Peter U12 girls team were FANTASTIC ball girls yet again, not to mention their high scoring game at halftime was fantastic!!
The Gusties and their fans went down to Lone Star BBQ & Grill after the game for some food specials and a silent auction. Senior Leah Brossoit spearheaded the collection of donation items for the auction which was a tremendous success.
Topping last year's total, the Gusties were able to raise $800 for Yuwa!
